Dhurandhar First Review: Ranveer Singh’s Spy Thriller Promises Shocks, Surprises and a Powerful Comeback

Ranveer Singh’s much-awaited spy drama Dhurandhar is all set to hit theatres on December 5, and the buzz around the film has reached a peak. With strong advance bookings and rising anticipation, the first reviews have now surfaced — and they are overwhelmingly positive.

Film critic Umair Sandhu shared the earliest reaction on social media, calling Dhurandhar a “power-packed, shocking and out-of-the-box experience.”

A Spy Thriller Loaded With Action

Dhurandhar follows Ranveer Singh in the role of an undercover Indian agent operating in Pakistan. The story pits him against three formidable antagonists played by Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, and Akshaye Khanna. According to early reviews, the film is packed with high-octane action, dramatic twists, and intense confrontations.

Umair Sandhu praised the film for its gripping screenplay and ambitious scale. In his review, he wrote:

The film’s pre-release response has been promising. As per SaccNilk, over 58,000 tickets have already been sold, bringing in a collection of ₹4.27 crore in advance booking. Industry estimates suggest that Dhurandhar may open above ₹15 crore on Day 1.

With strong word of mouth and Ranveer Singh’s star power, the film is expected to register an impressive opening weekend.
